  Shonan Electric Railways established a temporary station in the position of present Keikyu-Tomioka Station as "Tomioka seaside resort temporary station" in the summer of 1932. After potentate "Kajima Genzaemon" of local negotiates with the Shonan electric railway, it will continue as permanent station "Shonan Tomioka".
